In this vacation prep vlog, I’m taking you with me while I get ready for Mexico (and yes… I was doing the most). I started with the biggest mission: braiding my own hair. My mom convinced me to do it to save money, which was smart, but I was strugglinggg—especially with the top. I ended up with goddess knotless braids and I’m obsessed. If the parts in the back aren’t perfect… mind your business. I did it myself. Then it was appointment day: I tried a Brazilian for the first time, but I did sugaring instead because I kept hearing it’s softer on the skin. Everybody was hyping up how bad it hurts, and honestly? It wasn’t that bad. Did I enjoy the pain? Absolutely not. But after, I felt fresh, light, and I would do it again. Next stop was lashes with a new lash tech who helped pick a style that fits my eye shape, because last time my lashes didn’t suit my eyes. I also ran last-minute errands (Target is overwhelming, like what the hell) and did a mini haul for my braids and makeup. I grabbed products to keep my braids in place, something for my baby hairs, and a liquid orange blush. Finally, I packed in pieces over multiple days because I do not pack all at once—plus I’m packing for Mexico and Texas. The whole video is a little chaotic, but that’s real life.
