About This Video

In this video, I’m taking you along as I finally start decorating my first NYC apartment (yes… months later). I kick things off running errands, trying a new Dunkin’ matcha (it wasn’t bad, but something in it was bothering me—pretty sure it was the vanilla shots), and doing a Burlington/HomeGoods-style browse for little decor moments. I’m super picky with fall candles too—pumpkin is just not for me—so you’ll see me sniff-testing and trying to find something that actually makes sense for my space. Then we get into the real living room upgrades: I finally commit to a rug (because the house needed to look like something), add a fake plant in the corner, and do an IKEA run for frames. The big project is my DIY picture wall—Pinterest-inspired, but still personal—so I print photos at Walgreens when I catch that 50% off deal. I show you my frame layout, how I attached everything to the wall, and the final result with added lights for a cozy vibe. It’s giving soft life, but still neutral enough since I’m not living alone, and I share what I’m decorating next (bar area + vanity) so you know a part two/three is coming.
