In this video, I’m installing kinky clip-ins from Curls Queen on my natural 4B/4C hair, and I’m genuinely excited because I’ve honestly never seen clip-ins that match my texture like this. The hair comes in a 10-piece set, but I only used seven bundles because I didn’t want my hair to be too big or start looking too “fake.” I also had to dye the hair since my natural hair isn’t jet black anymore, and I’m not gonna lie—dyeing it was a struggle, so I didn’t really record that part (I regret it, but I was just trying to get it done). Before installing, I prepped my hair so it would match the clip-ins’ texture a little better, and once everything was dry, I started clipping them in. The application was pretty easy—nothing complicated, and the clips went right on top of my hair based on how I wanted the fullness to look. To blend it all together, I used a mousse that works for both my hair and the extensions. The best part is the versatility: I can wear it down, put it up, and still keep it looking natural and soft while staying true to my kinky-coily vibe.
