Hey, another kiln reveal! I had my first market on November 30th, so most of these adorable cats, dogs, bears, and piggies have already gone to good homes. And then I very quickly realized I needed to make a ton more to restock for my next market in two weeks for December 14th. People loved my pottery! About This Video

In this kiln reveal (#6), I’m opening up a load of my favorite kind of work: cute, cozy animal pottery. This batch is full of cats (including my classic cat mugs), plus pugs, bears, and piggies—basically all the little characters I love making in my New Mexico backyard studio. I talk through what came out of the kiln, what I’m excited about, and the pieces that have that “okay, this one turned out exactly how I hoped” feeling. This video is also very much a real-life maker update because I had my first market on November 30th, and most of these pieces already went to good homes. It was honestly such a boost to see people connect with my work in person—people loved my pottery! And then I had that immediate post-market realization: I need to make a ton more, fast, because my next market is only two weeks later (December 14th). If you’re a potter getting ready for a sale, this is a good peek into how quickly inventory can move and why kiln reveals are such an important checkpoint for restocking.
