In this kiln reveal, I’m opening up the biggest load of pottery I’ve ever fired—because it didn’t come out of my little kiln at home. I rented the largest kiln at New Mexico Clay so I could get a huge batch finished in time for a market I had the very next day, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it was a sprint to the finish line. This firing was all about getting quantity done without sacrificing the cozy, handmade details I love. I’m unloading 93 pieces, including a bunch of my white cat mugs (they’re always the fan favorites) and a few Derpachus.
