About This Video

In this video I tested the Naturium Barrier Bounce Bi-Phase Mist ($22) over about 1–2 weeks and focused on the things that matter most to me with a mist: does it cause acne, how does it feel, and what kind of finish does it leave. I’m already a huge fan of Naturium’s Barrier Bounce Serum (and bi-phase products in general), so I went into this really excited—but still open-minded because there were a few ingredients I was a little iffy about for acne-prone skin. The mist is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and comes in recyclable packaging, and it uses a ceramide complex, squalane, and urea. On application, I recommend shaking it (standard for bi-phase). The sprayer has a wide range and really travels, and the formula felt lightweight and super refreshing. The finish was my favorite part: very natural, skin-like, with a light dewy glow that brought my skin back to life without feeling heavy. Most importantly, it didn’t break me out or cause acne for me. If the $22 price tag feels steep, I also share my more budget-friendly alternative: Geek & Gorgeous Liquid Hydration, which I still think is undefeated for the price.
