BYOMA is one of those brands where something just randomly appears on shelves and you’re like, “Oh, that’s new,” so I was especially curious—because I’ve honestly been pretty against peel-off masks for years. This one is vegan, cruelty-free, fragrance-free, alcohol-free, and it’s built around a tri-ceramide complex, bioactive collagen, and cica, so I wanted to see if it could actually deliver hydration and soothing instead of just being a gimmick. I show the texture (thick, creamy, sticky), how I apply it, and what to watch out for—because you really do need a thick, even layer or it’ll dry patchy and be annoying to peel off (and yes, I got some in my hair). The finish surprised me: it left my skin noticeably more radiant, bouncy, and moisturized, especially on my dry-skin days. It didn’t cause acne for me, and while it’s not “necessary” or as effective as a leave-on treatment, I do think it’s a genuinely fun, justified splurge for events or self-care when your skin feels dull and dry.
