I kicked off this stream with a quick life update: I got sick right around Christmas, fell out of the upload rhythm, and honestly just got distracted by a bunch of new toys—like the Sony a6000, some new lighting/sign stuff, and a little heater in my room because we’re trying to cut down on power usage. I’m still daily-driving Hyprland on NixOS, and I talked through where my configs are at right now, because I’ve changed my mind a bit on flakes. I used to avoid them because it’s extra complexity for newcomers, but with a laptop + desktop, flakes make it way easier to keep everything meshed together. Then we got into the real reason I’ve been “missing”: I’ve become completely addicted to Generation Zero. I show off some gameplay, get into a few fights (don’t comment on my aim, I already know), and explain why I think it’s such a gem—great graphics, interesting story, tons of content, vehicles, collectibles, and co-op that’s genuinely fun.
