About This Video

I switched up the setup a bit because the old set was eating up way too much space in the living room, but the real point of this video is the chair—because if you’re tall like me, finding a gaming chair that actually fits is a whole mission. I’m 6’2”, and most chairs just don’t give you enough seat depth or backrest height, which gets old fast when you’re sitting for hours every day. In this video I tested the Gamdias Achilles and it’s one of the first chairs that straight up feels like it was designed for my body. You get the usual gaming chair stuff: removable headrest and lumbar pillow (I keep both on), adjustable armrests that are soft and look clean, and a backrest that reclines all the way into “night night mode.” The seat is high-density foam, so it’s on the firmer side, but it did soften up a bit after a couple weeks—still firm though. It also has RGB… and yeah, I’m not a fan of how they did it. Being tethered to the PC and having the lights on the back of the chair just feels gimmicky to me, so I leave it off. Comfort is what matters, and for 6–8 hour days of editing, this one gets my seal of approval.
