What you learn in this episode is how growth is produced. Growth is created by a system that emerges from the interaction between inputs, throughput, feedback, and outputs. Based on this, companies can grow in three ways. 1) Do more. Generate more leads, hire more sellers, increase spend 2) Do better. Improve training, sharpen the customer journey, target better prospects 3) Grow smarter. Design systems where customers help generate pipeline Historically, SaaS-Natives focused on doing more. More leads. More sellers. More sign-ups. That approach worked in early greenfield markets, where demand was abundant and constraints were low. But growth scales linearly in this model. To get roughly 2x output, you need roughly 2x the effort. If you want to grow 4x faster, you hire 4x as many people. In SaaS’ orthodox approach to growth, costs compound just as fast as growth itself. At some point, the system breaks. Growth slows down, while cost, not growth, starts to compound. Most teams today are operating in this reality. What changes the entire game is feedback. When outputs begin to reinforce inputs, growth decouples from effort. Exponential output becomes possible on linear input. The same people. The same capacity. Growth starts creating more growth. This is what happens when feedback dominates the system. Growth accelerates into a hard takeoff. At that point, speed becomes the decisive factor. Time matters more than skill, tooling, or even capital. Once a company establishes time dominance, the advantage becomes increasingly difficult to reverse. This is why growth in the age of AI is not governed by new laws. It operates under the exact same laws, just at a much higher velocity. AI-Natives do not focus on doing more. They focus on growing smarter. They sit on a real-time data infrastructure. Feedback loops run continuously. AI identifies where growth is coming from and helps focus limited resources where they matter most. If you read this far, perhaps you'd be open to like/subscribe?
