Hello YouTube land—this one’s a tough update. In this video I’m basically framing the conversation and explaining why I might be MIA for a while. 2025 has been absolutely nuts for me: I spent most of the year traveling, a ton of time in Michigan, and I was bouncing between hotels nonstop. I’m talking 197 nights in hotels in 2025 alone, changing places every few weeks, hauling bags in and out like a hobo. It was stressful, and somewhere in that chaos, things went sideways. The huge setback is simple and brutal: I lost my entire recording setup. My photographer-style backpack with my action cameras, mounts, accessories, and gimbal is gone—either I left it behind during one of those hotel moves or it got stolen. I don’t know which, but the outcome is the same: it’s all gone. When I went back to West Virginia to grab the bike and trailer and bring everything to Michigan, I had that “holy crap” moment when I realized the bag wasn’t there. So now I’m restarting from scratch—about $2,000 worth of gear—and I don’t know when I’ll be able to post again because I don’t have the cameras or mounts to film proper moto-camping content.
