In this video, I’m sharing my top 9 daily tech essentials that I use as a creative—stuff I genuinely reach for all the time. Outside of my usual UX design career content, I wanted to do something more lifestyle/tech and break down the gear that helps me film, stay organized, and make day-to-day life (especially in LA) a lot smoother. I also link everything below so you can check out the exact products. I start with my Sony ZV-1 and why I finally upgraded from filming on my phone (yes, you can absolutely get great quality on a smartphone), but the storage and flexibility of a real camera started to matter more as I filmed more often. Then I cover the mini tripod I use for quick mobile setups, my Jabra wireless earbuds for calls/workouts, and my Gotrax electric scooter—because LA parking sucks and gas is expensive. I also talk about my Tile tracker for people who lose their keys “all the freaking time,” my Nespresso machine to stop paying $4–$5 for coffee, a slimmer wallet setup, my Fitbit for staying active while working from home, and my Yeti mug to keep drinks at the right temperature. Overall, these are practical upgrades that reduce friction—kind of like good UX, but for real life.
