Working from home in tech makes it way too easy to sit all day, so I bought a Fitbit to take my health more seriously going into my 30s. It tracks steps, miles, heart rate, sleep, and more, and it also reminds me to take steps every hour. Hitting 10,000 steps starts to feel like a game, and it honestly helps keep me accountable.

“now you can do the math yourself but i'm definitely saving a few bucks each time that i decide to drink coffee at home instead of buying it from a nearby cafe hopefully in the future i should consider buying myself an actual coffee machine like a breville but for now i say i'm loving this espresso machine and i highly recommend it [Music] next up we got the wally bifold wallet from distilled union so before i used to have this i actually used to carry around a big thick wallet that was a little too bulky and a little bit annoying to carry around and this wallet looks and feels completely the opposite it's actually pretty compressed and feels very comfortable in my pockets now a couple of cool features with this wallet when you open up your wallet you do have a metal clip in the middle to keep all your bills and then also on the inside you do have two slots for two cards that you use the most often so what i do is put my license in one slot and then my main credit card in the other now if you need to carry more cards you do have two more pockets where you can put a total of seven cards in each of them they're locked and secured by magnets so all you need to do is open them pull on the tab and then your cards will come out [Music] so this is the most recent tech gadget that i bought and that is my fitbit going into my 30s i've been taking my health pretty seriously and one way to do that was for me to invest in one of these so if you don't know a fitbit is a fitness tracker that records your daily physical habits and fitness it tracks your steps it tracks how many miles you walk the run your heart rate your sleep and much more now if you work in tech and you work from home like me you know it's always a challenge to remind yourself to get off your ass step away from the home office and go get some fresh air and sunlight now what i do love about this fitbit is not only will it keep track of your steps but it also reminds you to take steps every hour now i believe as a human being you have to take at least 10 000 steps a day in order to keep your body healthy and i'll be honest i've been really bad at that especially since i started working from home at the end of the day it kind of feels like game because once the step meter fills up all the way it'll let you know that you've completed your 10 000 steps for the day and it definitely makes you feel good and it makes you feel accomplished as well thank you now last but not least i do have my yeti cup now i actually do have three of these but this specific one is 24 ounce mug that i use to get a full cup of coffee i say that these are pretty common nowadays and they're amazing for the reasons that they do an amazing job of keeping your drink temperature consistent obviously yetis are a bit pricey but i do think that they are worth it alrighty guys so those are my top nine daily tech essentials that i use as a creative i really do appreciate you guys watching this video it's something that i don't really do as often but i definitely want to try new style of videos whether it's doing more ux design more tech lifestyle etc again i'll have the product link in the description so if you guys want to check it out and buy for yourself they're there for you thank you again for watching i'll see you guys in the next video peace out guys [Music]”
