I go through what comes in the box (the metal 1.2L container, lid/valve setup, tiny fork and spoon, charger cable, and straps), and I show you how the handle folds down into itself—which I honestly really like. Then I walk through the modes: refrigerated food heating (snowflake icon), room temperature heating, a heating mode where you can adjust time, and a child lock mode that keeps you from accidentally bumping the buttons and resetting it. After that, I put it to the test with real food. First up was leftover venison stew straight from the fridge, and I learned quick that the refrigerated mode isn’t “fast”—it heats over time and took about an hour to get everything hot and steaming. Then I heated up room-temp canned chicken noodle soup, and it came out hot, hot, hot after the cycle. My big takeaway: this thing is a game changer for camping, job sites, and even hurricane season as long as you can keep it charged with something like a power station.
