Hey guys, it’s Kayla Waller with Waller Adventures, and in this video me and Jen are in St. Augustine, Florida at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! I normally don’t like filming Ripley’s because they’re everywhere, but we came for one specific reason—the Cryptids: Where Legends Live exhibit. We walk through the museum (and yep, this building is known for being haunted), checking out a bunch of the wild Ripley’s stuff along the way—everything from odd artifacts and creepy displays to animal oddities and some straight-up “what in the world” exhibits. Once we hit the cryptid gallery, it turns into a whole “fact vs fiction” kind of vibe. They’ve got Bigfoot and Florida’s Skunk Ape (basically our version of Bigfoot), plus things like casts, footprints, hair samples, and stories tied to sightings—especially around Florida. I was excited to see all of it, but I’m not gonna lie… I was kind of upset they didn’t really have Mothman in there like they should’ve. They had him as a ceiling light, and that was about it, and Mothman is my favorite cryptid. We wrap it up with the gift shop (no cryptid t-shirts—also upsetting), and I share why this is still a fun stop if you’re ever in St. Augustine, especially if you want to come back and do the haunted night tour.
