Hey guys, it’s Kayla Waller with Waller Adventures, and in this one I take y’all with me on a camping trip to Florida Caverns State Park up in Marianna—way up there near the Alabama line. From Orlando it was about a 4.5 to 5 hour haul, and we even crossed into central time. We checked in, landed in campsite 11 for three nights (about $74), and I’ll be real with you: the campground is small and you’re kind of on top of each other, plus our spot didn’t have much shade—good thing I packed tarps. Camp setup got a little spicy because I had a “knife incident” (yeah… I cut my finger good and had to run to the ranger station for gauze). After that, I show how we set up the tent, tarps, lights, and how we use Audrey’s car to run around while my truck holds down the fort. The next day we do coffee with my Joulle electric kettle and I talk about my go-to Bones Coffee flavors for camping. Then we unbox and test the OGREY camping light in a real campsite situation. I show the magnetic top, hook, tripod legs, brightness modes, and how much throw it has once it gets dark—this thing basically turned our campsite into daylight. We also talk about what the park offers like the cavern tours (separate video), the museum/visitor center, and spots like the Blue Hole you can swim at.
