Picture this: it’s July 1st, Artfight 2024 starts, I’m suddenly a god of creation… and then the website doesn’t load. In this speedpaint + commentary video, I explain what Artfight even is (drawing other people’s characters as “attacks” for points), why the site usually dies at the start, and how I planned my “victim list” ahead of time so I could actually get drawing. My strategy was attacking artists whose work I love (even if we’re not mutuals) to boost the odds of getting a revenge—without ever expecting one.
