Heyo, I’m Will, and in this video I straight-up kidnap your original characters and hit them with my skrunklification beam. The idea is kinda like those “yassifying your characters” videos, except I’m doing the opposite: I take your beloved OCs and make them more evil—or, if they’re already morally dubious, I scrun-fy them even further. I also explain what “scrun” means to me: edgy, but in a gremlin, affectionate way (rat energy, raccoon energy… self-declared scrun energy). I redraw four submitted OCs and narrate my character design choices as I go: pushing facial expressions, posture, silhouettes, and story hooks to sell the villain vibe. One character gets turned into a condescending dressmaker who weaponizes clothing (yes, I added the pin cushion wrist, and yes, caveman instincts won). Another becomes a grumpy alien bounty hunter whose morals eroded into “the hunt is the point,” and I focus hard on a disgusted snarl expression plus glow details. Then I flip a super cutesy “girly pop” princess setup into manipulative control in Halloween Town, and finally I tackle a darker, messy concept about identity erosion—also showing you that not every idea lands perfectly, and that’s part of the process.
