Nothing says late summer like salsa made from fresh garden vegetables. I’ll show you how I roast, blend, and can our favorite salsa recipe while Andy works to clean up the garden. At the end of the day, we meet back up to taste the fruits (and salsa!) of our labor. Salsa Recipe 5-8 ripe tomatoes 3-4 fresh peppers of your choice 1 med onion 3-4 cloves garlic 1-2 tsp salt The juice of 1 lime Roast the vegetables as shown in the video or in a cast iron pan. Chop all veggies to the consistency of your choice. Add all together in a pot, add in salt and lime juice. Simmer until the salsa is as thick as you’d like. Enjoy fresh or can salsa per usda or other trusted source guidelines. In this video I pretty much tripled this recipe 🍅 Meagans Food Processor (there may be a newer version, ive been working this one hard for the last 4 years!) https://amzn.to/458U5AB We are excited to be apart of the great fall garden festival coming up on Sept 20! https://www.justdigitfarms.com/the-great-fall-garden-festival Follow us on our official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/share/CJ5AgCV613gVgAbJ/?mibextid=LQQJ4d Join our Facebook community group!: https://www.facebook.com/groups/639624823908914 Shop our favorites here! https://truegritappalachianways.com/shop-my-favorites/ The best way to support the channel: please share this video and watch more below!
