Today’s video shows Andy and I working up deer and a little pork here on the homestead. We rendered fresh lard, cubed deer meat for canning, and Andy sliced deer to make jerky. Then I worked up two pork shoulders, one turned into roasts and the other was cubed for canning. Every bit of this food is either homegrown or harvested by us, which makes filling the pantry shelves that much sweeter.
