It’s a summer evening on our Appalachian homestead — Andy’s out in the hay fields and I’m making my way through evening chores with the cows, chickens, pigs, and all the critters who call this place home. 🌾🐄🐓 We’re grateful for these long summer days that keep the grass growing, the hay baled, and the pantry filling. From the steady hum of the tractor to the soft cluck of hens settling in for the night, it’s a rhythm that’s as old as these hills.
