Before the Frost || A Day of Hard Work & Good Harvests || October 2025

Today we’re racing the weather! The whole family joins in to sow cover crops in the corn field before the first frost hits. Then we dig volunteer potatoes, pick green tomatoes, and gather up what feels like the last round of peppers from the season — and it’s been a pepper year for sure! As Meagan reminds us, there’s only so much space to store things and only so many hours in a day. The important thing is to do what you can, be thankful, and rest easy knowing you gave it your best.
