Today has been a super busy day, so much to do so little time! We are getting the chickens moved out of the winter coop, but first our chicken tractor needs a few repairs and we've run into a challenge, a broody hen. Meagan is also squeezing in some ice cream and butter making, the fridge is full of milk and it's got to go somewhere! Chicken Tractor Build https://youtu.be/WOKdefCy5o0 Winter Chicken Coop Build Playlist https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLnKpaj6ZJDIqEXKczHM0eJsAakxty2G5x Chocolate Ice Cream Recipe (makes about 1-2 quarts) 2 cups heavy cream 2 cups milk 4 egg yolks 3/4 cup sugar 1/2 tsp salt vanilla 1 cup chocolate chips, melted (I used half semi sweet and half milk chocolate) Combine egg yolks and sugar. Add heavy cream, milk, salt and vanilla. Combine. Add in melted chocolate chips, stir slowly. There will be hardened pieces of chocolate throughout your mixture, these are delicious!
