In this video I’m in my new workshop, and I’ve been making a ton of dust. I started sweeping and realized I was mostly just moving the dust around and letting it land on everything, so I went to Walmart and grabbed the Hart 10 gallon shop vac to see if it could actually keep the mess under control without spending a bunch of money. I unbox it, show everything that comes in the box, and walk through the assembly—caster wheels, handle, the included dust bag, and the filter setup (including the foam filter for wet use). Then I put it to work on shop dust and debris, test a few attachments (wide floor head, brush, squeegee, and crevice tool), and show how the bag expands and what gets past it. I also cover the practical stuff: the 10 ft cord, hose length, storage options for the hose/attachments/tubes, and extra features like the drain and the blow port. For about $60, I think it’s packed with features and has been performing well so far for keeping dust down in my shop.
