This is the Dustopper Pro. Its a spiral cyclone dust collector that goes on a 5 gallon bucket. I was looking for a dust collector with a low profile that I could store in a small cabinet. I have to say the Dustopper pro fits my needs perfectly. I test the dust catcher with very fine particles and large particles. Both of these are filtered into the bucket and kept my shop vacuum free and clean. About This Video

I’m in my small shop getting a CNC setup going, and I realized real fast I needed a dust collector that would actually fit in the cabinet I want to store it in. I originally wanted to run a more traditional spin-down cyclone, but it was just too tall. So I grabbed the Dust Stopper Pro—this low-profile cyclone lid that snaps onto a 5-gallon bucket—and I unboxed it, installed the gasket (flat side up, and I was careful not to stretch it), and hooked it up with the included sweeping 90s and hose. Then I put it to work with two types of mess: super fine MDF powder and bigger chunks I had around the shop. The big takeaway: it caught everything I threw at it. After both tests, the bucket had the debris and the shop vac tank was basically empty—no dust, no chunks—so the whole point of keeping your filter and bag from clogging up actually worked. The only real “watch this” item I noticed was static cling inside the bucket, and it does come with a grounding clip, so I’ll be looking at grounding it. For the price (I think around 40–60 bucks), it was honestly better than I expected and it fits my low-profile storage needs perfectly.
