This is the EconoHome 250w wall heater. I install this to keep some batteries warm in the winter. The Adjustable Thermostat helps to keep this heater working only when needed. About This Video

In this video I’m installing the EconoHome 250W wall-mounted heater (plus their adjustable thermostat) inside my small utility/electrical closet. The whole point is simple: I’ve got lithium iron phosphate batteries for my off-grid setup, and I need to keep them above freezing when they’re charging. My closet is only about 16 sq ft, so even though the heater is rated for rooms up to 100 sq ft, I’m expecting this to be more than enough. I unbox everything, use the included template and hardware, and mount it to a wall that’s covered with 1/2" plywood. The kit includes a sticky-back heat shield, and I show how I centered it and pressed it down before hanging the heater. Then I wire it up the easy way—just plug-in—using the thermostat set to “heat,” so it only runs when the temperature drops below my set point (around 45°F). I also test temps with a laser thermometer and confirm it’s heating the space (I saw about 117°F on the heater surface), and I verify the thermostat cycling off right around 46–47°F. There is a slight odor at first, but it’s supposed to go away in a few days.
