This is the DeWalt 7491RS table saw. This saw has been out for a while and comes loaded with several features. I unbox and setup this saw then make a first cut. Great saw that is smooth and easy to use. The RS in this product name means Rolling Stand. You can find this saw on Amazon here: https://amzn.to/489iOEz If you have a product that you would like to submit for video review please contact me by email here: toolstechandgear@gmail.com Amazon links are through the affiliate program.

About This Video

In this video I’m unboxing and setting up the DEWALT DWE7491RS table saw. The “RS” means it comes with the rolling stand, so I walk through the stand assembly step-by-step: joining the frame halves, installing the axle and wheels (and where the washers do and don’t go), adding the kickstand, and mounting the handle. I also show a simple trick for mounting the stand to the saw by flipping the saw onto the box as a non-marring surface, and I point out how to orient everything correctly (front markings and keeping the kickstand on the power-cord side). Once it’s assembled, I do a full feature overview: the power switch with a lockout, blade height wheel, bevel lock/adjustment up to 45°, and the fence system (including how it stores, how it mounts, and how that flip-up support ledge helps when your workpiece is hanging off the table). I also cover the built-in storage for the push stick, throat plate access, blade guard and riving knife setup, miter gauge storage and adjustment, onboard wrenches, and the dust port for a shop vac. To wrap it up, I make a first test cut on 1/2" plywood using the miter gauge. My takeaway: this saw feels smooth and easy to use, and I’m excited because it’s replacing my old, wobbly-fence Ridgid that just wouldn’t cut straight.
