In this install video I’m out in my workshop finishing up a full set of 18 Amico ultra-thin recessed LED lights with the nightlight feature. I’d already put in 17 of them, so I brought you along for the very last one—unboxing the light and control box, showing the foam gasket (and how annoyingly easy it peels off), and walking through the wiring inside the included junction box with the little push connectors. I also show the exact hole size I used and why I recommend it. For this job I used a 6 1/4" hole saw even though the included template is 6", and that extra bit of clearance worked really well for me. I set all the lights to 5000K to match my shop/studio lighting, and I demo how you can flip the switch off and back on to toggle into nightlight mode (the ring around the edge). I also talk about dimmer compatibility—one dimmer I tried had a loud hum/buzz, so it’s worth double-checking the exact model list in the booklet.
