About This Video

This one’s the footage from my Monday night live stream where Debbie & I went through the Port St. Lucie train show haul from January 24, 2026. I always throw the big view up so you can actually see the pile, and then we just start digging in. Debbie’s N scale, so she scored a little Union Pacific caboose for three bucks, and then she surprised me with a Magnus Models “Main Street Crossing” white metal kit for one dollar. Box is worn and the paperwork’s old and wonky, but everything was still in the plastic—can’t beat that. I also grabbed a tool lot that was marked ten but the guy took seven—mainly because I needed a handle for one of my saws, and this set came with three handles and a bunch of blades. Then I found a box deal: “all items in box for 15 bucks,” with a bunch of older horn-hook rolling stock. A couple cars were missing trucks, but for the price I’ll use them on a siding or as decoration. The big score was a GC Laser “County Livestock Auction Service” kit. It was tagged at 30, I asked for 20, and it was still sealed—nice laser-cut wood parts and bags A, B, and C. And to finish it off I talked a guy down on an 0-6-0 Mantua saddleback to 15 after testing it on the track—ran a little slow, but it works and it’s got new couplers.
