About This Video

In this short little video, I’m just in the kitchen making dinner—cabbage and noodles—and I figured I’d share it with you guys. I get the water going for the wide noodles, then I start building the flavor: green pepper, onion, celery (no, not broccoli), and I almost forgot the garlic—had to get that in there. I’ve got the cabbage cooking down, everything covered up, and I’m basically just waiting on that water to boil so we can bring it all together. For the meat, I’m using beef and pork kielbasa, and once it’s all mixed with the cabbage and noodles, it’s one of those simple meals that just works. You can hear me pretty excited about it—“boy, this is going to be good”—because it’s easy, it’s hearty, and it tastes great. I also show a quick pickup from the Amish market: pure golden honey from Intercourse. At the end, we do the taste test at the table, and yep… it’s good. Let me know what you think, and if you make it, tell me what you toss in yours.
