Good afternoon, fine people of the internet—tonight at the workbench I’m getting into those loading docks you’ve been seeing on my current project. I’ll show you how I built them up (all those little legs and crossmembers) and, more importantly, where they’re actually going in the scheme of things on the layout. This is one of those details that can really make an industry scene look “right,” and I walk through what I’ve finished so far and what’s coming next on the Rail-Scale-Models kit. I also do what we always do on a live night: talk train shows coming up and what’s new. I run through a bunch of Florida show info and the sites I use to find events, plus a few specific dates I’m aiming for like the Suncoast Model Railroad Club show in Pinellas Park and the bigger January shows. And yeah—I was a little sidetracked fighting with Windows 11 earlier… it’s crap. But we got it working, and we get back to trains, builds, and the next steps at the bench.
