In this video I’m over at the Deland train show (January 10, 2026) and it’s basically time to go see the trains. Debbie’s been patiently waiting, so we head over together—after I run back and grab her another set of tweezers because she saw the ones I had. Once we get into the layout area, I start walking you through what’s there and I grab lots of footage of the different setups and the folks running them. You’ll see a bunch of different scales and clubs represented, and I bounce from display to display as things are running (and sometimes not running). There’s N scale modules, G scale/garden railway stuff that keeps getting bigger, a trolley setup with the Electric Railway Club of Florida, and even the Greater Florida Lego Users Group. A couple spots have technical difficulties, and you’ll hear me calling it out as we go—because that’s train shows: sometimes it’s perfect, sometimes you’re just trying to get something moving. I also point out the Volusia County Model Railroad Club layout in the barn, and we wrap up checking out more modules and work-in-progress areas on the show floor.
