Today’s VAMP Tuesday Vintage Party was all about Buyer’s Choice tiny treasures, and I was on early getting everything situated (and yes—freezing, because my little heater lives under my desk, not by the sale table). We chatted a bit—St. Patrick’s Day plans, my bold Lensmart glasses obsession, and even food (because apparently I can’t do anything without talking about chicken spectacular, Brussels sprouts with bacon, and that Trader Joe’s garlic dip that’ll keep vampires away). Then we got down to business: I pulled out Dad’s hoarded box of little tinies and set up rounds of Buyer’s Choice with a “clear the board” vibe at the end. I also tested a “quick claim / buy it now” style listing live, starting with the star of the pre-show: a ceramic salt pig. We Googled it together (because what even is a pig with a hole in its back?) and sure enough—it’s a salt pig, and Becca snagged it fast. After that, I flipped the camera and walked you through the board: kitschy candle bunnies, Looney Tunes cards, bells, a Frozen Charlotte tin, restaurant ware, Avon Chicken Little (Edwardian vibes), Hallmark ornaments, Rose Lane pottery, Fitz & Floyd Easter, and even an 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition watch fob.
