I hopped on for a quick “Mornings With Misty” catch-up (no makeup, barely awake, one sip of my Alani… you know the vibe) and ended up doing a little antique mall/thrift haul from yesterday—plus some random surprises. I’m getting ready for two live sales on Friday (10am with Miss Pamela Blanchard and noon with Lamar), so I’m sorting, photographing, and deciding what’s coming with me. We had a whole moment for the vintage bunny with those dreamy eyes, I showed my Garfield postcards I’m turning into package toppers, and I shared a few of my favorite weird-cute finds like the straw-stuffed corduroy bunnies, a Jiminy Cricket plush (conscience, be your guide, y’all), and a 1972 Casper that I’m keeping. I also dug into a bag of vintage pillowcases (shockingly, they were mostly paired sets), talked through damage honestly on a couple of pieces (because I’m not gonna pretend chips don’t exist), and even ran a couple items live. We debated a “marriage” of glass pieces that turned into more of a divorce, I showed a wicker doll bed/rocker situation I couldn’t leave behind, and I shared reselling tips—like how I comp Build-A-Bears on eBay and what branded plush can still be worth. And yes… we opened mystery Star Wars Tsum Tsums because apparently I have zero self-control when toys are on clearance.
