Greetings and salutations, fellow earthlings of this planet—today I’m doing a Goodwill thrift with me, and yes… the music was musicing. I popped in after getting my talons tamed, and I’m not gonna lie: this Goodwill was giving “shelf of tragedy.” But I still did what I always do—scan for anything with personality, quality, or resale potential, and then I regrouped for a proper car haul where we can actually hear each other. I ended up spending about $64, and most of what I grabbed was for real life: cozy Joyspun Walmart pajamas (my absolute favorite), a couple Disney shirts for our thrifting-Disney-attire tradition, and some goodies for Mark (he’s lost weight and needs a new wardrobe). I also picked up a couple hats, a cute yellow bolster pillow for the new shop couch, and some games for our upcoming Vintage Day Out—plus I snagged a game just for package toppers because I love using weird little pieces in shipping. On the vintage side, I found a 1995 Kmart Christmas bear (I collect those) and a stack of ’80s/’90s Disney Little Golden Books to either lot up or introduce my grandson to the classics. I also shared what sold on eBay and VAMP, and reminded y’all you can message me if you see something you want and I’ll do a private listing.
