In this video I’m still in my pajamas, trying to start a normal errand-day vlog… but my brain is stuck on one very serious mission: can I be transformed from my beloved Bath & Body Works hand soaps to cheaper “still cute at the sink” options from Dollar Tree and Dollar General? I’ve got four sinks in my world (shop, kitchen, my bathroom, and Mark’s bathroom), so I’m doing a little experiment where I’ll judge price, smell, texture, lather, and whether it dries out my hands—and then I’ll update y’all after a couple weeks. I hit Dollar Tree first and, honestly, I was a little disappointed. I’m a foaming soap girl, and my store only had two foaming options, so I grabbed one of each and decided we’d need to test more brands from other places. Of course I still got distracted by Easter stuff, blind bags, and the general “Dollar Tree is only stocked for a glimmer of time” chaos. Then I detoured to Dollar General because the soap was still on my mind (Dollar General has that Dollar General smell… I like that smell). I found a couple budget foaming soap options in their dollar section and grabbed those to compare. The takeaway: if you’re chasing Bath & Body Works vibes on a budget, selection matters, and I’m not willing to sacrifice “smells amazing” and “looks cute” just to save a buck.
