About This Video

In this one I’m doing two things that always feel a bit weird: talking about selling bikes, and popping back into a dealership that’s got history for me. This place used to be Barnett Suzuki in Raleigh, and it was genuinely my favourite stop—good vibes, easy to wander around, and it was one of those shops I actually enjoyed visiting instead of just tolerating. Now it’s rebranded as Art Moto Garage, and I wanted to go have a look and see what the new ownership is doing with it. I’m not coming at it like some corporate “dealer review” either—I’m just a bike nerd who likes a good shop and I’m curious how it changes when the name on the building changes. The big takeaway is that a rebrand doesn’t automatically mean the soul is gone, and from what I’m seeing, the new version of the place could be very cool. If you’re local to Raleigh (or you’re passing through on a trip), it’s the kind of stop that’s worth adding to the route—especially if you’re like me and can’t resist browsing bikes and chatting nonsense for a bit.
