In this one I’m out doing what I should be doing more of—actually riding—taking a spin on an NC scenic byway and giving the Valkyrie a bit of love along the way. I’ve been banging on about it for ages: YouTube might’ve “given up” on my channel, but I haven’t. So instead of sitting around doom-scrolling analytics, I’m chasing decent roads, getting miles in, and keeping the big Honda project moving forward. The ride is the point, but the Valkyrie improvements are the real takeaway. I’m still in that phase where every little change makes the bike feel more like mine, and I’m stacking up the wins—ride it, find what bugs me, tweak it, repeat. If you’re rebuilding or sorting an older cruiser, that loop is everything: get it on the road, pay attention to how it behaves, and make improvements that actually matter for comfort, reliability, and day-to-day usability. And yeah—if you want to help the channel survive the YouTube gods, the like button apparently still counts as a sacrifice.
