About This Video

This week was a big one — my biggest mileage week ever in this London Marathon build — and I take you through the full thing day by day. It’s the last proper “load” week before I back things off for a down week, because I’m also trying to line myself up for a half marathon PB at Gloucester Half. The backbone of the week is a proper hard 21-mile long run, and around that I’ve got two big sessions that make it feel like a real marathon-specific block rather than just ticking easy miles. In the video I talk through how I’m balancing the workload, what each run is trying to achieve, and why this timing matters with April getting closer. It’s very much about stacking consistent training weeks, getting comfortable running hard on tired legs, and then earning the recovery so I can actually absorb it.
