The Switch 2 has been out for about six months now, and since I grabbed mine on day one, I wanted to come back with the real long-term take—after the honeymoon phase is over. I talk about what I genuinely like (the bigger, vibrant screen, the more premium magnetic Joy-Con connection, and that classic “dock it, then take it handheld” lifestyle), but I also get into why I’m not reaching for it as much as I expected. For me, the Switch 2 feels more like a solid upgrade than a must-have, especially when there still isn’t a big catalog of true Switch 2-only reasons to jump. I also cover one of my biggest gripes with the Switch (and Switch 2): ergonomics. The back is flat, it’s not made for human hands, and long sessions can be rough.
