Tonight we're going step by step through the process of using ChatGPT to help get you started in audio processing on your audio interface! Here is the prompt I use. This is not written in stone. You can tweak it and change it to your liking. Yes, it's long, but the more information you give it, the better it learns and knows what you are looking for. REMEMBER! You must upload a raw, unprocessed recording for it to analyze your voice. I suggest doing a new one for each mic you process. “Using this file, can you give me the Advanced processing settings, for the Rodecaster Duo, to give me a perfect balanced sound for my voice based on this audio sample. Include settings for: High-Pass Filter, De-Esser, Noise Gate, Compressor, Equalizer, and Exciter settings. Keep in mind, the equalizer settings in the Rodecaster is gauged by Hz, example: current High bell is 10000.0Hz, Mid bell is 400.0Hz, Low bell is 100.0Hz.” I want to give the processing that classic broadcast sound. Im in a decently treated room, with a small air conditioner running approximately 10 feet away. I plan to livestream and record. I want more radio like. A slightly deeper but soothing sound that won’t give listening fatigue.”
