About This Video

The year is 2025 and audio gear has moved fast—ANC is basically a standard now. So in this video I go back to the JBL Tune 710BT, a budget over-ear that’s been out for over a year, and I test if it still holds its own even though it doesn’t have active noise cancelling. I cover the unboxing, the build, comfort, pairing speed, sound, mic quality, and then I break it down into real pros and cons after using it for a while. Straight out the box, the 710BT surprised me with how sleek and well-built it feels for the price. It’s lightweight (220g), folds up nicely, and the ear muffs are super soft—comfort is honestly crazy good and I rated it a strong 8/10. Pairing is quick (under 10 seconds) and multipoint works flawlessly, but you must know there’s no dedicated JBL app support here—no EQ and no firmware updates, just plug-and-play. Sound-wise, it’s clear, crisp, and punchy, with that strong JBL Pure Bass that works especially well for pop and hip-hop (and even podcasts). My biggest con is still the lack of ANC, and the buttons feel a bit stiff. But for $68, yes—I still think it’s a good buy in 2025 if you want simplicity and battery life that won’t quit.
