About This Video

In this video I’m basically talking out loud about what 2025 taught me as a creator—and why I feel like I’m standing on the edge of that “abyss” again. I’ve been doing product reviews for about 3 going on 4 years, and I’ve seen the whole range: some videos pop off, some die, some randomly climb months later. But the bigger lesson wasn’t the algorithm—it was realizing I’ve used “money” and “I don’t know what to film” as excuses before, and a lot of creators are doing the same thing right now. I break down why I think 70–80% of people get stuck hammering away in the wrong lane (especially gaming/streaming) without real growth—like years in, 10 viewers max, and no traction because they’re not a pro player or a comedian. For me, switching into honest budget gear reviews finally gave me a voice and a purpose, because I started calling out the stuff other reviewers wouldn’t. But now I’m burnt out on the endless “another budget mic” loop, and I’m ready to jump again—into photography, lenses, day-in-the-life content, and talking more openly about my life, mental health, and being a dad. The takeaway is simple: stop sitting in “this is fine.” If you’re not growing, change something. Take the leap, learn in public, and build the setup—and the life—you actually want.
