In this video I break down my honest thoughts, pros, cons, and real-world experience using these gaming earbuds. I’ll also talk about why so many people return them, and whether those issues actually matter depending on how you use them. These earbuds promise low-latency gaming audio, Bluetooth connectivity, and customizable sound through the SteelSeries app, making them usable for gaming, music, and everyday use. But that doesn’t mean they’re perfect. What I cover in this video: • My honest first impressions • The biggest pros and cons after using them • Why they get returned so often on Amazon • Whether they’re actually worth the price • Why I’m still using them anyway The Arctis GameBuds support both ultra-low-latency 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth, making them compatible with PC, consoles, and phones. They also offer active noise canceling, customizable EQ presets, and up to about 10 hours of battery per charge with around 40 hours total using the case. But like any product — especially gaming earbuds — there are trade-offs you should know before buying. If you’re thinking about picking these up, this video should help you decide whether they’re actually worth it. 👇 Let me know in the comments Would you keep these… or return them? About This Video

I bought the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds with my own money (about $120 on sale), and this isn’t one of those “graphs and curves” review videos. This is my real user experience after actually living with them, and why I think they’re one of the most returned gaming earbuds on Amazon… but I’m still keeping mine. My biggest message: don’t pay full price—if you’re even considering these, catch a sale or go refurbished around $80–$90, because at $100+ you need to be smart with your money. I break down the three main issues that I think make people return them: the microphones are straight up terrible (console party/Discord is gonna get you told to return them), switching between 2.4GHz dongle mode and Bluetooth isn’t simultaneous (you have to swap modes via app or triple-tap), and firmware updating is way more annoying than it should be because of cable/dongle requirements and USB hub weirdness. But on the flip side, the sound quality is fantastic, the fit is comfy (even with glasses/beanies), the tactile buttons are way better than overly-sensitive touch controls, the EQ presets (like Apex/footsteps) can be immaculate, and the wireless charging case is clutch for my desk setup. If you can live with the cons—especially the mic—these are a strong budget-ish pick when priced right.
