I landed in Hawaii completely cooked — like 18 minutes from touchdown and I’m already saying “never again” about rushing through airports with bags and a tired kid. Once the family reunion kicked off, I set up a timelapse with the A6700 and ran the Sigma 18-50 f/2.8 for photos, but the real story was me trying to create while being an introvert in a loud, high-energy environment. I’m on baby duty a lot (and I’m fine with that), but I could feel the “why isn’t he doing more?” vibes, and it’s hard to explain mental health stuff to people who don’t know you. Between the noise, the mic screeching, and the crowd, I had to step away and do breathing exercises to keep a panic attack from hitting.
