About This Video

Before we jump in, I’m upfront about it: FIFINE sponsored this review and sent the AmpliGame V3 to me for free—but that doesn’t change how I test gear or what I say. In this video I break down the real-world performance of the FIFINE AmpliGame V3 capture card, focusing on what most budget creators actually need: clean 1080p60 capture, low latency, and plug-and-play usability. Since I don’t own next-gen consoles, I tested it in a “creator” way—capturing 4K footage from my Sony ZV-1 Mark I (24fps, HLG3) straight into OBS, then comparing it to a cheap “1080p60” USB capture card that’s really more like 1080p30. The big takeaway: the V3 looks noticeably cleaner than the $10 card, and it’s stupid easy to use in OBS (it shows up as “FIFINE capture card”) with no drivers. It also supports 4K30 passthrough while recording 1080p60, which is plenty for most gaming clips, streams, and highlight workflows. And yeah—I go on my 2025 rant: 1080p60 still makes sense because editors, orgs, and short-form platforms still live in that standard, and most viewers are watching on phones or limited internet anyway. My main knocks are design choices: the RGB is basically pointless because the cables come out the sides (not the back), and it doesn’t include an HDMI cable. But if you want a budget capture card that just works, the V3 is a solid pick.
