In this tutorial, I show you how to use conditional content inside of Brevo so you can personalize emails without building separate campaigns every single time. The whole idea is simple: you create one email, and Brevo dynamically shows different blocks to different contacts based on their data—like tags, attributes, or even location. This is one of the easiest ways to make your emails feel more personal while keeping your workflow clean. I walk you through it inside an automation so you can see it in a real use case. We go to Automations, create a workflow (I use the Welcome Message template), and review the basic structure: triggers, actions, and rules. Then I jump into the email editor where you can apply conditional content to any section. For example, if someone has a “new customer” tag they’ll see a welcome discount, and if they’re a “returning customer” they’ll see a loyalty reward. Once you save the email and activate the automation, Brevo waits your set delay (like 2 days) and sends the same email—personalized automatically for each subscriber.
