About This Video

Hey there guys, Chad here from Speak About Digital. In this tutorial I walk you through exactly how to fix domain authentication inside your Brevo account, focusing on the big two: SPF and DKIM (and I also show you DMARC). These records are what help your emails reach the inbox instead of getting pushed into spam, so it’s one of those setup steps you really want to get right from the start. I start inside Brevo by going to the gear icon (Settings), then into “Senders, domains & IPs,” and specifically the “Domains” tab. If you haven’t added your domain yet, I show you how to register it first so Brevo can generate the right DNS records. From there, I choose “authenticate the domain yourself,” then copy each DNS record exactly as Brevo shows it: the Brevo code TXT record (to prove ownership), DKIM1 and DKIM2 as CNAME records, and the DMARC record. Once everything is saved in your domain registrar’s DNS, you come back and click “Authenticate this email domain” so Brevo can verify it. When it’s authenticated, you’re set up with proper sending infrastructure and much better deliverability.
