About This Video

In this video, I’m basically asking out loud: will 2026 be the end of Google Pixels for me? I’ve been with Pixel since the very first release (even when it felt prototypy), and I’m still a fan—I’m also dropping a full Google Pixel 10 Pro pros/cons review later this month, after my usual “I’ve lived with it for 6 months” testing window. But with 2026 already feeling like “the year of the analog,” I can’t ignore how many people (myself included) are craving something a little less connected and a little more intentional. That trend is why I’m so interested in what showed up at CES—especially Clicks. Their whole thing is bringing tactile, physical-keyboard energy back into modern smartphone life, and that hits me right in the nostalgia (my last pre-smartphone phone had a real keyboard and I never wanted to let it go). I walk through two Clicks products: the Power Keyboard (MagSafe/Pixel Snap, slides up/down, shortcuts, more universal than a phone-specific case) and the Clicks Communicator (a full Android 16 phone with a built-in keyboard and swappable backs). I didn’t pre-order the Communicator because I’m not fully sold yet, but I did pre-order the Power Keyboard so I can test it with my Pixel 10 Pro. For me, this is less about “ditching Pixel” overnight and more about following the innovation—because I miss when phones felt clean, intuitive, and genuinely new.
