About This Video

In this video, I’m walking you through our very first personal quarterly review of 2026, and honestly… it felt a little mind-blowing that Q1 is already done. I share what a personal quarterly review actually is (because I know it can sound very “workplace”), and how I borrowed that structure to hold myself accountable to my personal 2026 goals. The whole point for me is treating my promises to myself as seriously as a work project—checking in every quarter to see what I accomplished, what I didn’t, and what I learned. Before I get into my own Q1 review, I share the things that make this process feel cozy and doable: set a vibe (I’m talking comfy clothes, a feel-good playlist, and a really yummy coffee), remember why wins matter, and also why setbacks might be even more valuable. Then I show you how I reset my Notion “homepage” for April (fresh images, springy icons, and a quote that keeps me grounded), and I clean up my quarterly master to-do list—recurring habits, content systems, and my ongoing kitchen renovation planning. We end with the reflection prompts I use every single quarter: wins, setbacks, lessons learned, going-forward wants, a rating, and a word. For Q1, I rated it a 9/10 and chose “full circle,” especially because I finished my book manuscript draft—one of the biggest accomplishments of my life.
